Each and every person has his or her own unique story and I feel it is a great privilege to be a healthy, positive part of it. My own story is filled with battles and triumphs; I myself have conquered obesity, became an ultra marathoner (completing the 125k Canadian Death Race Solo in 2009), suffered a traumatic knee injury in 2011 and defeated doctors expectations for recovery by running long distance again. Life is a beautiful journey and my wish is to help others realize this and to live each and everyday to its greatest potential.
I enjoy travelling, trail running, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and backpacking with my husband, children and grandson in my leisure time.
